SKALE is an open source, customizable blockchain network that provides users and developers with the right tools to create high-throughput and high-performance Ethernet-based dapps. SKL is the native ERC-777 standard token for the SKALE network. the SKALE network aims to reduce transaction fees and enable network participants to have high throughput by introducing the scalable Web3 sidechain SKALE chain. The SKALE architecture is supported by SKL token holders and authentication nodes running nodes. the SKALE network follows a decentralized proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. SKALE solves the scalability problem of Ethernet bridges for inter-chain messaging agents (IMAs), which support the transmission of tokens and messages. These transfers are protected using BLS threshold cryptography. SKALE solves the technical problems and improves the performance of any application by creating a scalable sidechain that is compatible with EVM and interoperable with Ether.SKALE managers are responsible for creating these sidechains. It exists on the main ethereum network and handles all operations such as node creation, withdrawals and reward payouts, etc. The SKALE network also supports Solidity, enabling developers to use the same tools and token standards on the main ethereum network. They can even use the SKALE network's Web3 storage layer to store files directly on the extended chain. Considering that the SKALE network can process over 2,000 transactions per second, while Ether can only execute about 10 to 45 transactions, the project could be a prominent execution layer for many blockchains moving forward. To add more utility value to the network, the SKALE Labs team plans to add two major extensions: storage and inter-chain communication. This will enhance storage capabilities and message relaying between multiple sidechains, respectively.SKL Price and Economic ModelSKL is the Scale Network's native multipurpose token. It has a maximum supply of 7 billion pieces. At launch, 4.14 billion SKL tokens were released. SKL tokens were publicly funded on ConsenSys Activate, raising over $5 million and gaining approval from over 3,700 investors. over 167 million tokens were sold at the SKL price of $0.03. Over a third of SKL tokens went to the verified node community at an annual issuance rate of 9.3%. Another 25% of the tokens go to network supporters, including verified nodes, delegates and users of other endchains. Another 20% is allocated to employees and the founding team, with a release time of more than 5 to 6 years. The price of SKL is expected to increase once the decentralized application gains more support. Founder Team On January 1, 2018, SKALE Network was founded by CEO Jack O'Holleran and CTO Stan Kladko. Prior to founding SKALE, O'Holleran spent more than a decade creating Aktana, a company focused on helping life science companies use artificial intelligence contextual intelligence engines.Kladko has more than 18 years of experience in cryptography and holds a Ph.D. in physics. At Stanford University, he founded a crypto startup called Igrian Networks, which was later acquired by SafeNet. SKALE raised a total of $22.5 million in 6 rounds of funding. The initial token offering helped raise $5 million, with top investors from Korea, the US and Europe such as XRP, Capital, Multicoin Capital and Blockchange Ventures being a few of the investors in recent funding rounds.
