What is Bitunix Copy Trading?
Copy trading helps investors to follow and copy the trades of experienced cryptocurrency investors in real time. When the lead trader makes a trade, the system automatically copies the same trade for the trader.
With copy trading on Bitunix, both the follower and the lead trader can benefit from a win-win situation:
The follower is able to copy the trading strategy of the experienced trader he is following.
The lead trader, as an experienced investor, can attract more followers based on the performance of the trading strategy and earn a percentage of the net profit from the followers.
While trading with followers can be rewarding, it can also be risky. Followers should be aware that a trader's past performance is no guarantee of future returns. In addition, the actual rate of return (ROI) of a trader may differ from that of his/her fellow traders due to limitations such as slippage or different entry points.

Copy Trading Order Rules
When your copied trader successfully place a trade, the system will automatically copy the new trade for you. Please note the following rules for opening and closing trades.
Open or Incresasing position: After a trader's order has been fully executed, it triggers the follower to place a follow-up IOC limit order, which will also limited by the upper/lower limit of the slippage point of the trader's average transaction price.
Close or reduce positions: the number of trader positions reduced, triggering the follower of the market price to follow the reduction of closed positions, the size of reduced positions = min (the number of positions of the follower, the number of traders to reduce the number of traders / number of traders the original position * number of positions of the follower)
Failure scenarios
Insufficient Available Balance: When the available balance of the follower's trading account is insufficient to meet the minimum order size requirement, the system will not place an order, resulting in a failed order.
Price deviation (slippage) exceeding the threshold value: The Follower Trading Service has a price protection mechanism designed to minimize the risk of slippage when a follower creates an order. The maximum slippage ratio for each order is 0.1%, if the price range is exceeded, the transaction will not be completed.
Maximum Position Margin Limit Reached: Maximum Position Margin Limit is a parameter set by the follower to effectively manage the user's risk and exposure. When the position of a trader reaches the maximum position margin limit of the corresponding trading pair, the system will not continue to place orders, resulting in the failure of the trader.
Profit Sharing Rules
The system will calculate the net profit of the followers at the time of each funding rate settlement, and calculate the amount to be distributed to the lead trader according to the profit sharing ratio, i.e., the amount of profit to be shared. Profit sharing will be unified and transferred to the lead trader's spot account at the settlement time.
Pending Profit = Max(Realized Profit * Profit Ratio, 0)
When a follower holds a position, and profit settlement will result in the liquidation of the position, it will be delayed until the next settlement cycle.
