To enhance the trading experience for TradFi Perpetual Futures, Bitunix will support 24/7 trading starting from 2026-08-14 08:00 (UTC).
This change applies to Bitunix TradFi Perpetual Futures, including stocks, ETFs, indices, and commodities.
Trading Hours Adjustment
Previously, Bitunix enabled Reduce-Only mode during weekends and traditional market closure periods, allowing users to close existing positions only.
After this update, TradFi Perpetual Futures will support 24/7 trading, allowing users to open and close positions at any time.
Important Notes
24/7 trading refers to the continuous availability of Bitunix TradFi Perpetual Futures. It does not indicate that the underlying traditional financial markets for stocks, ETFs, or indices are open during the same periods.
The trading hours for commodity-related perpetual futures remain unchanged.
Trading page status labels, including "Open" and "Low Liquidity," may experience update delays. The trading hours specified in this announcement shall prevail.
Pricing Mechanism During Non-Trading Hours
As some TradFi assets reference underlying traditional financial markets that do not operate 24/7, Bitunix will implement specific pricing and risk control mechanisms for the Index Price and Mark Price of TradFi Perpetual Futures during non-trading periods and periods of limited liquidity. These measures are designed to maintain fair, continuous, and orderly pricing.
As a result, the calculation methods for the Index Price and Mark Price of TradFi Perpetual Futures may differ from those used for crypto USDT-M perpetual futures.
Users are advised to carefully monitor market liquidity, price volatility, and related trading risks when trading during weekends and traditional market non-trading hours, and to manage their positions accordingly based on their own trading strategies.
