Over the past month, Bitunix has experienced several unexpected technical incidents, including a large-scale DDoS/CC attack and an abnormality affecting our market chart displays. I fully understand that these sudden issues may have caused anxiety and raised concerns about the stability of our platform. For this, I would like to extend my sincerest apologies, and personally share with you what has happened, how we responded, and most importantly, reaffirm our unwavering commitment to every user and partner.
Security of Funds: Always Our Top Priority
Let me begin by assuring you that throughout these incidents, user funds and positions remained completely secure. Thanks to our third-party custodial wallet system, asset security has always been, and will always remain, Bitunix’s highest priority and our most fundamental responsibility.
Swift Response
The moment the incidents occurred, our technical team immediately activated emergency protocols. During the DDoS/CC attack, we successfully defended against more than 100G+ of malicious traffic, while reinforcing our systems and upgrading our protection mechanisms to keep the platform stable. In the case of the chart display abnormality, we promptly fixed the affected module, strengthened real-time monitoring, and further optimized our systems to ensure more reliable performance moving forward.
Transparent Communication
We know that technical fixes alone are not enough—honest and open communication matters just as much. That is why, immediately after the incidents, I hosted a live session with our partners and community, where we openly explained the situation. We also reached out to affected users one by one, carefully listening to feedback and ensuring every concern was addressed. During this process, many KOLs expressed their understanding and encouragement—something that warmed us deeply and reinforced our responsibility to keep improving.
The following day, I met with all internal business teams to align on next steps and ensure our external communication remained consistent and transparent. At Bitunix, we firmly believe that trust is built on openness, and we will never shy away from sincere dialogue with our users.

We promptly launched compensation measures for affected users and have since completed full reimbursements across tens of thousands of impacted orders. In addition, we have reinforced our global 24/7 customer support team, ensuring users from every time zone can receive timely assistance whenever needed.
More importantly, we have already rolled out a medium-to-long-term technical upgrade roadmap that includes:
- System architecture optimization, targeting 99.99% uptime;
- Global multi-node deployment, enhancing service coverage and stability;
- Multi-layered security defenses, further reducing risks and building a stronger protective framework.
