Dear Bitunix users,
Bitunix will support the merger of Velodrome Finance (VELODROME) into Aerodrome (AERO) and the AERO contract swap. For more information, please refer to the official project announcement.
Deposits & Withdrawals
• Bitunix will suspend deposits and withdrawals of VELODROME and the old AERO token at 2026-11-02 02:00 (UTC). After this time, deposits and withdrawals of VELODROME and the old AERO token will no longer be supported.
• Deposits and withdrawals of the new AERO token will resume after the token merger and contract swap are completed. No further announcement will be made.
Token Merger and Swap
VELODROME tokens will be swapped to AERO at a ratio of 1 VELODROME = 0.044 AERO.
Old AERO tokens will be swapped to new AERO tokens at a ratio of 1 old AERO = 1 new AERO.
Spot Trading
• Bitunix will delist the VELODROME/USDT Spot trading pair at 2026-11-02 02:00 (UTC). Any open orders will be automatically canceled.
• Trading of existing AERO Spot trading pairs will not be affected.
Convert & Tiny Swap
Bitunix Convert will disable VELODROME at 2026-11-02 02:00 (UTC). Tiny Swap (small asset exchange into USDT) will also remove VELODROME at the same time. Users are advised to convert their small balances in advance.
Futures Trading
• Bitunix Futures will conduct an automatic settlement of the VELODROMEUSDT perpetual contract at 2026-10-27 07:00 (UTC), after which the contract will be delisted.
• If users still hold positions at the time of settlement, positions will be automatically closed. Users are advised to close positions in advance and avoid opening new ones.
• To protect users and reduce risks under extreme market conditions, Bitunix may implement additional protective measures without further notice. These may include adjustments to risk limits (such as maximum leverage per tier, position limits, maintenance margin ratio) and funding rates.
