Dear Bitunix users,
We are pleased to introduce the Withdrawal Reversal Window on Bitunix. This new feature gives you greater control over the withdrawal process by adding a customizable delay before a withdrawal enters processing. During this short countdown period, you can cancel the withdrawal instantly if you notice an error.
This feature is designed to help reduce the risk of irreversible asset loss caused by entering the wrong withdrawal address, selecting the wrong network, or missing required Tag or Memo details. With the Withdrawal Reversal Window, you can choose the balance that works best for you between faster processing and stronger protection.
What Is the Withdrawal Reversal Window
The Withdrawal Reversal Window is a withdrawal safety feature that allows users to set a short delay before a withdrawal request moves into processing.
You can choose from the following delay options:
- 0 seconds
- 15 seconds
- 30 seconds
- 60 seconds
During the selected countdown period, you can tap or click Cancel Withdrawal to stop the request immediately. Once canceled, the system blocks the withdrawal request and rolls the funds back to your account balance within seconds.
In simple terms, this feature creates a built-in correction window before the withdrawal is processed, giving you time to act quickly if something is wrong.
How the Withdrawal Reversal Window Works
The Withdrawal Reversal Window is designed to make withdrawals safer while giving users more flexibility.
Set your preferred delay: Choose 0s, 15s, 30s, or 60s depending on whether you prioritize faster processing or additional security.
Submit your withdrawal: After the withdrawal is submitted, a countdown will appear on the Withdrawal Details page.
Cancel during the countdown: If you notice any issue, click Cancel Withdrawal before the countdown ends.
Receive your funds back: Once the cancellation is successful, the system immediately returns the funds to your spot account balance, usually within seconds.
Please note: Changes to the delay setting only apply to newly submitted withdrawal orders. Any order that is already in progress will continue using the delay selected at the time of submission.
Where to Find It
On the app: Assets → Withdraw → Withdrawal Details Page
On the website: Assets → Withdrawal History → Withdrawal Details Page
The setting entry appears next to the countdown text on the Withdrawal Details page.
Why This Feature Matters
Better protection against common withdrawal mistakes: The Withdrawal Reversal Window helps reduce the risk of permanent loss caused by incorrect addresses, wrong network selection, or missing Tag or Memo information.
More flexibility for different user preferences: Users who want the fastest possible experience can choose 0 seconds, while users who want added protection can choose up to 60 seconds.
Faster cancellation when timing matters: During the countdown period, users can cancel with one tap without a secondary confirmation step, helping maximize interception speed before wallet processing begins.
Important Notes
If your delay is set to 0 seconds, the withdrawal will enter processing immediately and no countdown will be shown for that order.
If the Cancel Withdrawal button disappears before the displayed countdown ends, please check your network connection and refresh the page. In some cases, the countdown shown on the page may be temporarily out of sync with backend status. Once the countdown reaches zero, the order is locked for processing and can no longer be canceled.
For new users, the default delay setting is 60 seconds to provide stronger protection against operational mistakes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did changing my delay setting not affect my current withdrawal order?
Changes to the delay setting only apply to newly submitted withdrawal orders. Orders that are already in progress will continue using the delay selected when the withdrawal was submitted.
Why did the Cancel Withdrawal button disappear before the full countdown ended?
Please check your network connection. If the page has not refreshed correctly, the displayed countdown may not fully match the latest backend status. Once the countdown reaches zero, the order enters processing and can no longer be canceled.
How long does it take for funds to return after cancellation?
Once you cancel the withdrawal, the system performs an immediate rollback. Funds are typically returned to your spot account balance within seconds.
Why can’t I find the delay setting entry?
The setting entry is located next to the countdown text on the Withdrawal Details page. If your delay is set to 0 seconds, the order enters processing immediately and no countdown is shown for that order. You can still update the setting for future withdrawals.
